Technology Partnerships
BioInvent has entered into several partnerships around the development and manufacturing of antibodies.
Antibody development partnerships typically involve BioInvent utilising its proprietary n-CoDeR® technology to identify antibodies that can bind to partners' selected targets. Selected antibodies are further developed either by the partner alone or as part of a continued collaboration with BioInvent. BioInvent receives milestone payments and royalties on sales from these projects. Partners to date include Bayer, UCB-Celltech and XOMA.
Bayer HealthCare (www.bayer.co.uk)
Discovery and development of antibody products using the
n-CoDeR® library. The agreement allows for up to 14
therapeutic antibody products to be developed.
Mitsubishi Tanabe (www.mt-pharma.co.jp)
Discovery and development of antibody products using the
n-CoDeR® library. The agreement allows for up to
five therapeutic antibody products to be developed.
UCB-Celltech (originally Oxford Glycosciences www.ucb.com)
A multiyear collaboration to develop and commercialise
antibody drugs discovered using the n-CoDeR®
library.
XOMA (www.xoma.com)
Cross-license agreement for antibody related technologies,
including the n-CoDeR® platform.
BioInvent uses its knowledge and capabilities in antibody
